Эстонский юный шахматист Оттомар Ладва стал чемпионом
Европы
11 июля в Сербии завершились
юношеские чемпионаты Европы по быстрым шахматам, где вновь отлично
выступили эстонские юные шахматисты. 4 выигранных и 5 ничейных
партий (6.5 очков) привели к званию чемпиона Европы среди юношей до 14
лет (U14) юному шахматисту из Хаапсалу Оттомару Ладва. Пройдя весь
турнир без поражения эстонский юный шахматист повторил свой прошлогодний
результат (но уже на возрастную группу выше) тем самым в очередной раз
показав всем, что наследники великого Пауля Кереса не дремлют. Высокое 4
место среди девушек U16 заняла таллиннка Трийн Нарва.
Очень
жаль, что на фоне такого высокого спортивного достижения эстонских
шахмат, на состоявшемся в этот же день годовом общем собрание ЭШС в
Таллинне было с грустью доложено, что ЭШС не может отправлять сборные
Эстонии по шахматам среди мужчин и женщин на Всемирную шахматную
Олимпиаду, который пройдет в этом году в Ханты-Мансийске (Россия). У ЭСШ
нет финансовых возможностей, так как получено отказ проектов на этот
важнейший для шахматистов событие, который стоит всего-то 10 тысяч евро.
Что поделаешь? Не уважают у нас шахматы?!
И всё же! Поздравляем Оттомару Ладва, его
родителей, тренеров (кто работали и работают с ним), а также всех
эстонских шахматистов с успехом на чемпионате Европы! Это наша общая
победа!

Ottomar Ladva võitis 6,5 punktiga 9-st Euroopa kuni 14-aastaste kiirmale
meistrivõistlused. Eelmisel aastal võitis Ottomar Euroopa meistritiitli
kiirmales kuni 12-aastaste ja Euroopa meistritiitli välkmales kuni
14-aastaste vanusegrupis. Ottomariga võrdselt 6,5 punkti kogus ungarlane
Omar Eltigani.
Teistest eestlastest saavutas Triin Narva 5,5 punktiga 8-st kuni
16-aastaste neidude hulgas 4. koha ja Georg Abozenko kuni 14-aastaste
noormeeste hulgas 4,5 punktiga 13. koha.
